Vinticuffs

Vinticuffs uses a lot of images. This article is to give you an idea of the various types, and the limitations/expectations of their dimensions and sizes.

Eventually basic image manipulation will be added to file fields with strict dimensions; but until then a template PSD will be provided along with a basic guidelines image. If you do not have Photoshop, you can always use GIMP and if you do not want to install such an application you could try out a browser solution such as PIXLR

Index Images

Index images are displayed in generic search results for Servers, Articles, Events, and Files (Extend).

These are 250x150 strict, and will be resized in either direction that the uploaded image does not comply with.

Header Images

These images are displayed above Articles, Events, and Servers to give your submission a little personality.

700x150 strict, and will be resized in either direction that the upload does not comply with.

Member Avatars

50x50, strict and will be resized in either direction that it does not comply with.

Game Icons

32x32 strict, and will be resized in either direction.

Game Box Art

No limitations

Game Screenshots

480px MIN, and 1080px MAX. Images under will be bumped to 480, and anything over max will be shrunk to 1080. These will attempt to maintain aspect ratio.

Site Features

680x180, strict. Will be edited manually for front page clarity.
